What We'll Be Talking About
Over the past few years, I've traveled to Revolutionary War sites across the thirteen original colonies — walking battlefields, ducking into colonial taverns, and exploring hidden fortresses that most Americans have never heard of. All of that research, all of those stories, came together in my book Revolutionary Road Trip — and on June 3rd, I'll be bringing those experiences to life for the Inside the Parks community. Here's a taste of what we'll cover:
The stories you didn't learn in school. From lesser-known heroes to the untold roles of women, enslaved people, and everyday colonists — the revolution was far more complex and compelling than any textbook lets on.
