Nomination Recognizes Darley's Hosting Work on "Look Up with Darley"
Emmy Award-winning television host, producer, and travel expert Darley Newman has been nominated for a 69th Annual New York Emmy® Award in the Program Host/Moderator category for her work on Look Up with Darley, the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences New York Chapter announced on Thursday, July 2, 2026.
The nominations were unveiled at the PIX11 Studios in New York City, hosted by Marvin Scott, multiple New York Emmy® Award-winning journalist and Vice President of the New York Chapter of NATAS.

What Is "Look Up with Darley"?
Look Up with Darley invites viewers to discover the history, architecture, and culture hidden in plain sight. From iconic skyscrapers to centuries-old landmarks, each episode reveals the stories behind awe-inspiring structures and the people who built them — told through Darley's signature blend of expert storytelling and on-the-ground exploration.
The series airs on NJ PBS and streaming platforms and has earned multiple New York Emmy® Award nominations, including for its Newark and Asbury Park episodes. Director of Photography Greg Barna, who received the Silver Circle Emmy® Award in 2025 for lifetime achievement, has been recognized for his work on the series.
Darley Newman's Award-Winning Career
This latest nomination recognizes Darley's on-camera hosting — the craft at the heart of a career defined by storytelling excellence. Darley is the creator and host of Travels with Darley, Equitrekking, and Look Up with Darley, with seven Daytime Emmy® Award nominations and three Emmy® wins across her series, which stream on PBS, Amazon Prime, Create TV, and Tubi.
2026 has been a landmark year for Darley: her debut book, Revolutionary Road Trip: Hidden Stories of America's Founding Journey, launched June 30 ahead of America's 250th anniversary, and Travels with Darley is filming its 100th episode along Route 66 during the Mother Road's own centennial year.

Winners will be announced at the 69th Annual New York Emmy® Awards Creative Arts Ceremony and Gala on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at the New York Marriott Marquis in New York City.
